The CPA: the third member of our marriage

Well, tomorrow is the big day. Tom is sitting for the first of four sections of the CPA exam. He’s been studying daily for 8 months now, and everyone in the family is excited to see him take the first step towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant! It’s certainly not going to be easy (in fact, I’ve heard people say that it’s harder than the bar exam). It’s rare for people to pass all four sections of the exam on the first try. Let’s hope that Tom can be one of those lucky few!

Tom and I are lying in bed right now, and the above image is what I see next to me. I can’t wait for the day when he won’t need to study so hard each day. I know he’s dying to do some leisure reading on topics other than “Adjustments and Itemized Deductions.” And spend more quality time with his lovely wife, of course ;).

We’re also having our possible future home inspected tomorrow. Hopefully no unforeseen (and expensive) problems will be revealed…
Overall, I’ve had a wonderful and relaxing four-day weekend for the Thanksgiving holiday. I wish I could say the same for my hard-studying husband.
For those of you who are going back to work tomorrow after a long weekend, bon courage!
Oh, and happy 3rd monthiversary to me and Tom! ❤️

It will be so worth it indeed!!! That is not
even a question. Yes, I have taken all 4 parts. I had passed two, however, I lost credit for a section after receiving a 74 on FAR. 🙂
